Meet The Team At Newport South Wales

It has been a little over three months since we opened our doors to Ableworld Newport South Wales. As a team, we are happy to know our service has proved valuable to the Newport community, its been nice to see so many people accept us into the community.
Here at Ableworld Newport we believe in quality customer service, meaning we inform customers about the specifications of our products and their suitability but ultimately let you decide what to purchase and when. Due to the warm reception that we have receieved from all of our customers, we would like to take this opportunity to share with you a little more information about ourselves.
Denise Parker – Store manager
I worked for Kettler GB before becoming the store manager of Ableworld Newport South Wales. However, i have had a lot of experience working in the mobility sector as i was employed for several years at Middletons Mobility, which has sadly now closed. My favourite product is the Wrenbury Riser Recliner due to its comfort and anti-sore pressure foam. Apart from serving the community i look forward to a bit of friendly competition with the other two stores based in South Wales, located in Bridgend and Cardiff.
Paul Badham – Retail Sales Adviser
Before making the transition to Ableworld Newport, I previously worked at Direct Sales Mobility Scooters. My favourite product is the Q50 R carbon fibre powerchair due to its lightweight design along with its ability to increase its range by having the extra battery. The carbon fibre frame allows the powerchair to glide over uneven surfaces making it one of the smoothest and most efficient powerchairs on the market. During my time here i hope to provide the best customer service experience for each customer and look forward to the opportunity of promotion in the future.
Chelsea Pitman – Retail Sales Adviser
I previously worked for a dental surgery and at Aldi before joining the Ableworld family. My favourite product is the Rascal Vippi Boot Scooter in lighting green due to its great price and vibrant colour. Whilst at Ableworld, I hope to gain a sense of achievement in my role, by helping customers choose the right product for them.
It’s been great to share some personal information about ourselves, here at Ableworld Newport. We hope that you feel like you know us a little bit more and never feel afraid to come in store and have a chat to us about your mobility needs. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Ableworld Newport South Wales Now Open!

Ableworld has now opened up in Newport South Wales! On Friday 10th November Ableworld successfully launched its new store in the Newport South Wales area and we were delighted by the reception we received from the public.
It was a fantastic turnout on our opening day, we were so excited to show the products and services on offer. Many customers were surprised by the selection of different mobility aids that could aid them on a day-to-day basis, plus we had our opening offers on show to celebrate our launch.
Aside from general mobility equipment such as Mobility Scooters, Riser Recliners, Powerchairs & Wheelchairs, Ableworld have a huge range of mobility aids to help you with all aspects of day-to-day life. Covering Kitchen, Bathroom and Bedroom products all with the precise aim to help people live a more independent life.
However, we don’t just believe in easy solutions were big believers in helping customers regain their independence through long term goals such as exercise, that’s why we supply products such as Sissel (hand) Putty, Pedal exercisers and Resistance Loops to help our customers regain some of their physical strength.
We look forward to building a strong and trusted relationship with the Newport community and want to say a big thank you to those who have already made us feel so welcome. Please, keep an eye out for our next blog where we will be introducing the team at Newport South Wales.
Ableworld Coming to Newport, South Wales Soon!

After many weeks of hard work, Ableworld are extremely excited to open their new Mobility & Stairlift Superstore in Newport South Wales on the 10th November 2023. Ableworld Newport will mark the 40th store opened by the Mobility & Stairlift Retailer.
Ableworld Newport will also be the third store opened by the South Wales franchisee, James Studdart, who already, has two well established Ableworld stores in the South Wales region - Bridgend and Cardiff.
Mr Studdart shared his excitement about the expansion, saying “We have been looking for the right building in both Swansea and Newport, and we are pleased to announce that half the mission has been successful with a great building in a prominent position in Newport with plenty of car parking.”
The new store will stock a wide range of well-known Ableworld products including Mobility Scooters, Wheelchairs, Walkers and Riser Recliner Chairs.
The store will also feature a stairlift demonstration area, along with a stairlift engineer onsite ready to install or service stairlifts in the local area. Customers will also be able to request a free quotation that will be carried out by our fully trained engineer.
Ableworld Newport will have a range of Opening Offers on in the store to celebrate its launch which will coincide with Ableworld’s current Christmas promotion.
